For tenants moving out
Many tenancy agreements say carpets should be returned in the same condition as at the start, allowing for fair wear and tear. Check your agreement and inventory, then book the clean after your furniture has gone and before the check-out inspection. Empty rooms clean better and dry faster.
Ask for a dated receipt. If your agreement requires professional cleaning, it is the simplest way to show the work was done.
For landlords and letting agents
A clean between tenancies helps a property photograph well and show well, and deals with odours a previous tenant may have stopped noticing. We can work around key collection and access arrangements, and clean several properties on one visit where that suits you.
What we focus on in a rental
- Traffic lanes in hallways and living rooms
- Marks where furniture stood
- Pet odour and pet stains
- Stairs and landings
- Bedroom carpets, often lighter coloured and showing more
What goes wrong if it is left too late
Booking the clean for the morning of the inspection leaves carpets damp when they are checked, and leaves no time for a second treatment on a stubborn mark. Allow time for drying, and tell us about the inspection date when you enquire.
End of tenancy questions
Will a clean get my deposit back?
We cannot promise that, as deductions depend on your agreement, your check-in inventory and the inspection. A proper clean gives you the best chance on the carpet side.
Can you clean holiday lets and caravans?
Yes. Holiday lets along the coast often need quick turnarounds between guests. Tell us about changeover days when you enquire.
